Remember hearing you sing this song for the first time a very long time ago!!! For goodness sake though, why didn't you extend the arrangement, its far too short at just over 3 minutes!! Would you be ok...I am a pianist...if I added a repeat chorus or two and outro perhaps to lengthen it to 5-6 mins to build the song's momentum. Listening to it again, its still a hit and we should all start playing it again??!

They are not screaming for us. They are screaming for themselves ... I think it takes a bit of humility to make that statement. Rather, Its how they feel about the song. Never thought about it that way ... pretty deep ...

Cool to see this. After the PopMart opener in Vegas in 97, the rest of the tour was pretty much ignored by MTV and the media in the US. MTV had all but stopped playing videos from the Pop album after Staring at the Sun. It was before the internet really blew up too so you didn’t get a lot of news/footage from the tour that year.

Sand as white as snow Swirls like smoke around my feet And a sky that turns in a moment From blue to gray All these things I see on an Irish day It is here that time has granted That the light should still burn on It was here a seed was planted In the brave heart of an Irish son Here before my time Walked men of faith and truth In a land that was dark They followed the way Bringing sweet light on an Irish day It is here that time has granted That the light should still burn on It was here a seed was planted In the brave heart of an Irish son Here, I kneel upon this ground Love can heal When truth is found This song was made in 1995 during the height of the power of the mid-90's outpouring of the Holy Spirit (what became known as "The Toronto Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.")

Im late to the Iona party. Used to hear this amazing ambient track in B&Q when i was in store and itbturns out, it was "Matthew the Man". Used soundhound to find it. Was always a Beggs fan so that explained the familiarity of the Chapman sound!! Im not necessarily religious but Kells and Beyond these Shores are excellent musically.

I wrote 'one rule for you, one rule for me' on my lounge wall. We were decorating so it would be papered over. It was for my ex. We'd just split up and I knew she'd see it because she was collecting her stuff later that day and leave the keys to my apartment. I was relieved she'd been and gone woohoo, finally rid of one huge pain in the ass! I went out and bought the single. It's a song I'll never get tired of. 'Keep it toooOoOoyourself'. As for the nob head wearing the umbrella hat? If I'd seen him back then I probably would've given it a miss.

@@BrianVincent-gz2dq Brian, good afternoon, I did not comment in what you said, "Glad to say I am off the booze.........." I have to look it up in the dictionary to know the meaning & only after that did I understand the nextsentence, "and not missing it at all." It made me very happy 'cause that's what i was begging to Jesus that someday you''ll realize/or go back to your sanity that what you're doing is ruining yourself. Remember in one instance you told me that,"pub opens in 20 mins. so my daily routine is about to begin." You also told me that "the enjoyment of alcohol is unlikelyto diminish as I have Good Friends w/in the environment." These are your very words & it saddened me too much, as a Legionary I see the importance of very fervent prayer to help you go back to your senses. So your Off the booze & not missing it at all made me very happy, I just hope & continue to pray. God bless us all.

@@gloriagarcia4351 Good morning Gloria. It is precisely 7:30 AM in Bristol, England, as I commence this message as I have just seen your message pop up. I hope my response in replying straight away is forgiven so early in the morning as be assured, it shall probably take a daft old sod like me at least an hour to send it, once I have spell checked!! 😁😁😁. The national sport in the UK, if not indeed the world (excluding USA), is Football. Americans painfully refer to it as "Soccer". My all time sporting hero was Sir Bobby Charlton, who peacefully passed away 2 months ago aged 86. His loss was mourned globally, not just as a football legend, but as a human being. Sort of like the Cliff of football !!! Ever since I was a child, I was always made to swear on "Bobby Charlton's honour" if people thought I was lying, as everyone knew I could never lie on his honour., and often had to deal with the consequences and take my punishment on the chin. At the age of 9, I swore I would never smoke, and almost 56 years later, I remain the only child of 9 that never, ever, ever, smoked, as Bobby's honour is unbreakable. My painful fall and breakage of my left shoulder comprising of 4 fractures, on the 30th December, just gone, was the final straw. I swore, in front of witnesses, on Bobby's honour, to never drink again. I never shall. Today shall be my 34th consecutive day without alcohol, and my family and friends, as am I, are delighted for me. My sense of humour has remained wonderfully intact, and I can now taste my food, and my memory has also improved. My credibility within my local pubs has increased dramatically and my undoubted intellect is on display, albeit NEVER in an arrogant way,... I just had a good education and have an opinion on an array of subjects, whilst not being "opinionated " in any discussion or debate. Feeling great and totally know Jesus answered my prayer to pluck the courage to swear on Bobby's honour to give up the booze. Jesus himself gave me the "Bobby's honour " tool to keep me on the straight and narrow at such a young age, understanding a child's hero worship of good people such as Bobby, would naturally formulate before my understanding of Jesus himself, as religion was too much to embrace when so young. JC was happy to watch from a distance, in a way, knowing he created the wonderful and kind and honourable person that Bobby was, to help bring me closer to Jesus in the same way Jesus has led me to Cliff, such is Cliff's love of Jesus, which has influenced my review of all things religious. I shall never break Bobby's honour and his impact has been equally as Important, if not more so, than even my beloved Cliff. ENOUGH OF ME: How are you ????? How is your relationship with Jesus? How is your personal well being, if you wish to share? I cannot review our former exchanges as I sadly don't know how to find them, as they are attached to various RUclips uploads contained within thousands of comments I have attached to thousand of uploads referring to our Cliff. I don't feel I shall ever grasp the technical side of mobile phones, so I unfairly have to rely on you to instigate initial exchanges in order for me to "reply" to your actual message at the time of receiving it. Always get excited, when reviewing comments attached to various Cliff uploads, if I see your name pop up, as it lets me know you are alive and well. My British phone number is 0q17
